Privacy Policy
Effective 3 September 2026
Mythic Realms is a single-player game. It has no accounts, no player names, no chat and no advertising. This policy explains the small amount of data the app and this website handle, why, and who receives it.
The app is published under the bundle identifier com.mg.mythic. The operator of the app and of mythic-realms.app can be reached through the support page.
Data the app stores on your device
Saved matches, your settings (audio, reduced motion), your local record of Realm results and Renown, and a record of which Realms you own are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded by us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
Release builds use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics records a small catalogue of gameplay events (for example that a match started, with its Realm, mode, difficulty, map size, world type and rival count) and the outcome of a purchase attempt. Crashlytics records stack traces and device characteristics (model, OS version, app version, free memory) when the app crashes, so we can fix the fault.
These reports carry a random installation identifier generated by Firebase. They contain no name, e-mail address, player identifier, prompt text or purchase receipt. Firebase is operated by Google LLC; its data handling is described in Google's privacy policy. Analytics and crash collection are off in development builds.
Purchases (App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat)
Realm unlocks and the Mythic Pro subscription are sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment; we never see your payment details. To recognise what you own across reinstalls, the app uses RevenueCat, which stores an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives no name or e-mail from us.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the app can submit your Saga Renown to the leaderboard and unlock achievements through those services. Sign-in, display names and leaderboard visibility are managed by Apple or Google under their own terms. The app works fully without signing in.
Mythic Pro: smart rivals
With Mythic Pro, rival Realms can be played by a language model. To choose a move, the app sends that rival's view of the board (the terrain, units and settlements its Realm can see, and the list of legal actions) to the model provider. This is game state only; it contains no personal data and no device identifiers beyond what a normal network request carries. If the service is unreachable, the built-in AI plays instead.
This website
mythic-realms.app is a static site hosted on Netlify. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. The download page reads your browser's user-agent string on your device to decide whether to send you to the App Store or Google Play; nothing is transmitted to us. The QR code is generated in your browser.
Netlify, as the host, keeps standard server access logs (IP address, requested page, time, user-agent) for a short period for security and operations, under Netlify's privacy policy.
Children
The app is rated for general audiences and collects no personal data, so it can be used by children under the supervision that the App Store and Google Play age ratings and family settings provide. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or correct. Analytics and crash data are keyed to a random installation identifier that we cannot link to you. To reset it, delete and reinstall the app. Purchase records can be reviewed and cancelled through your Apple ID or Google account. If you believe we hold data about you, or have any question about this policy, write to us and we will answer.
Changes
If the app starts handling data in a new way, for example if online features are added, this policy will be updated here, with a new effective date, before the change ships.
Contact
